Our Beloved Astro peacefully passed on Sunday August 13, 2017.
He was a true wonder pony and could really do it all. In his life before Villa Rosa he was a foundation stallion for the Frolenhof Stud in Canada. With them he travelled over Canada performing amazing jumping demonstrations and working in their famous summer riding camp.
Astro & Heidi @ Golden State Dressage
Once at Villa Rosa he really did it all...he competed through 4th Level with Heidi, took Carlos to his first dressage show, taught numerous VR clients, competed in combined driving, and performed exhibitions at Dressage in the Wine Country, Horse Expo and Carousel De Roi. Once he retired, he enjoyed his big paddock with the apple tree at VR, being the friendly uncle to all the baby horses, Team Mascot and Yoda of horses. We will miss him so much...we love you Astro!
