Johann is one of the most sought after trainers in the world. Students and clients come to him from all over the world. Some of his more notable current & former students include: Steffen Peters USA, Coby Van Baalen NED, Kathleen Raine USA, Marlies Van Baalen NED, Shelly Francis USA, Christine Traurig USA, Leone Brammel CAN, Heike Kemmer GER and Ulla Salzgaber GER, to name a few. Over the years his students have earned an unmatched cache of International Medals in Senior, Young Rider, Junior and Pony Divisions.

  • 1993 - 1996 Honorary Coach of the German Olympic Committee for Cavalry DOKR
  • 1996 Awarded the rare Reitmaster Award by German FN
